MEET HALEIGH SCOTT, PHD

Therapy Approach

My approach always begins with a relationship. A strong, positive, trusting relationship is the basis for impactful work in therapy. I work with individuals and families to understand what goals and dreams they have for their lives.

What does a happy and connected life mean to you? Once we identify this, we can explore the barriers or challenges and identify what skills or supports are needed in those areas. I have worked with people at all levels of support need, and can adapt therapy to the person and their abilities. Most of my work is based on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Behavioral Therapy (BT) techniques.

Outside of Work Passions:

I have so many passions outside of work! I love to be outside, rock climbing, trail running, and mountain biking. I enjoy cooking and traveling to eat great food, and I am a great resource for restaurant recommendations.

“A strong, positive, trusting relationship is the basis for impactful work in therapy.”
