We do recommend in-person therapy for most people under the age of 12 and for people who have higher support needs.

Therapy FAQs

  • The estimated wait time to begin services is typically 6 months to a year. However, this can vary based on a few factors, including:

    • Your scheduling availability

    • Whether you are open to virtual sessions or prefer in-person only

    • The type of service or support you're seeking

Being flexible with your availability or open to virtual sessions may help shorten the wait time. We regularly review our waitlist and will reach out as soon as an appropriate opening becomes available.

  • We are in-network with a few select insurance providers. Please call for more information.

If you're not using insurance, we also offer private pay options. To help make services more accessible, we provide a sliding scale based on financial need.

If you have questions about your specific coverage or payment options, feel free to contact us—we’re happy to help.

  • While we do not offer family therapy as a standalone service, our clinicians may integrate family members into sessions when it supports the client’s overall treatment goals and progress. This approach is determined on a case-by-case basis in collaboration with the client and clinician.

  • We offer both in-person and virtual therapy sessions to accommodate different needs and preferences. However, we strongly recommend in-person sessions whenever possible, as they often provide added benefits such as a stronger therapeutic connection, fewer distractions, and a more immersive experience.

We recommend in-person therapy for most people under the age of 12 and for people who have higher support needs.

That said, we’re happy to work with you to find the format that best supports your comfort and consistency in care.

  • Yes, our office includes both female and male providers, and all of our clinicians are fully supportive of the LGBTQ+ community.
